Flo’s Premium Ice Cream respects your privacy.
This app does not require user accounts and does not collect or store personal identifying information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.
Anonymous Usage & Rewards Data
The app stores anonymous, device-based data to support app functionality. This may include an anonymous in-app identifier (sometimes referred to as a “FLO code”) that helps associate rewards progress with your device, including:
- An anonymous in-app identifier (“FLO code”) used for the rewards program
- In-store rewards progress (e.g., stamp counts and redemption eligibility)
- Anonymous usage events for basic app analytics
- Push notification preferences (opt-in)
- Technical records used to prevent abuse of staff actions (rate limiting)
This data is not linked to an individual’s identity and is used only to provide app features such as rewards tracking and shop announcements. Flo’s does not attempt to determine who you are from this data.
Push Notifications
If enabled by the user, the app may store a push notification token so Flo’s can send optional broadcast announcements (for example: closures, specials, or events). Notifications are opt-in and can be disabled at any time in the app’s settings.
Permissions
The app may request access to the device camera for in-store QR code scanning (used in Staff Mode to award or redeem rewards) and permission to send notifications. The app does not request access to contacts, photos, or precise location.
Staff Mode
Staff Mode is intended for employee use only and is protected by a staff PIN. Staff actions such as awarding stamps, redeeming rewards, and sending broadcast notifications are processed by server-side services.
Data Sharing
Flo’s Premium Ice Cream does not sell your data. We do not share personal identifying information with third parties. We may use trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and push notification delivery) to operate app features; these providers process data only to provide the service.
Data Retention & Deletion
Rewards and notification data may be retained as long as needed to provide the service. Because the app does not collect personal identifying information, data is stored only under an anonymous in-app identifier (your “FLO code”). You may request deletion of your associated rewards and notification data by contacting flosicecream@gmail.com and including your FLO code.
Children’s Privacy
This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
